2014 Annual Report

  |   Uncategorized

As you know, Project Medishare has been working in Haiti for over 20 years now providing comprehensive community healthcare and development services in rural areas. Our community health programs serve over 100,000 men, women and children from birth to death by utilizing well-trained community health agents and birthing agents.  Since the earthquake, Hospital Bernard Mevs, with Project Medishare’s support, has treated over 300,000 people as the only trauma/critical care hospital in Haiti with adult, pediatric and neonatal ICUs. Project Medishare works with community and government leaders to define our program priorities and missions, aiming for Haitian-run, sustainable programs.

Our Annual Report for 2014 includes a letter from our co-founder Dr. Barth Green, a piece on “Remembering the Earthquake – 5 years later”, information on our Community Health program in the Central Plateau & Hospital Bernard Mevs in Port-au-Prince.
