A Brand New Pediatric Wing at Hospital Bernard Mevs

  |   Uncategorized

We are so excited to share with you some photos of the new Pediatric wing at Hospital Bernard Mevs Project Medishare! This construction took about 2 months to complete and was made possible by some incredible donations made by our Haitian friends.

Construction of the new wing

The new wing houses 15 beds for young children and, as you can see, is beautiful, well lit & equipped with mounted ceiling fans. As excited as we are about this new part of the hospital, we still have more work to do and are scheduled to fix the old Pediatric wing this week. This old wing will have a small, secluded section for children who are infectious. The Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is also on its way to being renovated. The NICU work will commence once the old wing is updated and additional funds are raised.

We still have construction work to complete so that we can accommodate the needs of Haiti’s babies, children and youth when they are in need of medical attention. If you are interested in helping us fix the old Pediatric room as well as the NICU wing, please consider making a donation today by clicking here.
