Live Below the Line

  |   Uncategorized

During the month of May, Project Medishare for Haiti staff members will be taking part in a global poverty awareness campaign called Live Below the Line. This campaign will help us raise funds for Project Medishare and we are asking for your support.

The Live Below the Line campaign calls on individuals, groups and communities across the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom to eat on just $1.50 a day, the U.S. equivalent to the extreme poverty line. 1.4 billion people around the world currently live below this line – lacking the basic choices and opportunities that most of us take for granted.

This week, Medishare staff will eat on just $1.50 a day to raise awareness of the challenge faced by these 1.4 billion people, many of whom live in Haiti, and to support our work at Medishare. Please click here to learn more and support our campaign!
