Song for Haiti raises money for Project Medishare

By Jennifer Browning

A group of Miami based musicians have written and recorded Song for Haiti. City of Progress, which is a part of Spam Allstars Productions, is selling the song as a download to raise money for Project Medishare’s relief efforts in Haiti. The group also recorded the video and posted it to YouTube.

All the musicians donated their time and talent.

“Really, the goal was to create something in English/Spanish/Creole that we could share with people…..Perhaps as an expression when words don’t seem like enough,” Melanie Masterson, owner of Milkcrate Technologies/Spam Allstars said “Each of us have participated in multiple fundraising events, but the song felt like something lasting.”
