EARTHQUAKE UPDATE: Earthquake victims being transported to facilities outside Haiti’s capital
By Jennifer Browning
Because many of the hospitals and clinics in Port-au-Prince were damaged, many earthquake victims are being transported to existing medical facilities outside of the capital including Project Medishare’s facilities in Thomonde and Marmont—located in Plateau Central.
This will increase as time goes on which means Project Medishare staff already situated in Thomonde will be very busy helping injured in Thomonde in addition to assisting with the ongoing relief and rescue work happening currently in Port-au-Prince.
