3 Year Anniversary of Haiti’s Earthquake

  |   Uncategorized

On the 3 year anniversary of the devastating Earthquake in Haiti, this Saturday, January 12, 2013, CBS Evening News will run a 2- minute piece on Hospital Bernard Mevs Project Medishare and the Knights of Columbus’ “Healing Haiti’s Children” program. The piece will feature our prosthetic program run by our Haitian Technicians and Adam Finnieston, with commentary from Peter Rosenstein, Executive Director of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists. Our continued service and programs for sustainability with the people of Haiti, while so many others have departed, is clearly a testament to our long term commitment.

Special thanks to Sean Herbert and CBS for affording us the opportunity to tell people in the United States of the wonderful work taking place in Haiti and to remind people of this story. Make sure to tune in this Saturday to the CBS Evening News!
